Traditionally a peace pipe is smoke to seal a covenant, treaty, or in religious ceremonies. Peace pipes were also called Calumets.  Calumets were used to mark war and peace, as well as commerce and trade, and social and political decision-making.   In ceremonial usage, the smoke is believed to carry prayers to the attention of the Creator  or other powerful spirits. This Great Spirit Cheyenne Native American Tomahawk Peace Pipe is constructed of stainless steel with a satin finish and wooden handle. Cutout of the blade is a weeping or bleeding heart. There are many stories as to what the heart stands for and many variations of those stories.  The handle is wrapped in faux leather with gold colored nails to accent the entire piece.  This is a functional peace pipe with the pipe bowl and mouth piece constructed of polished aluminum. Be part of this proud sacred tradition and own your very own peace pipe.

Tobacco was sacred to the many different Native American tribes. The tobacco being burned in a peace pipe is believed to send one's prayers up to the Great Spirit, the creator of all. The Traditional Native American Ceremonial Spiritual Balance Peace Chief Tomahawk Hatchet Axe Blade of the Chief War Hawk Functional Smoking Tobacco pipe is a replica of artifacts unique to North America: created by Europeans as trade objects but often exchanged as diplomatic gifts. They were symbols of the choice Europeans and Native Americans faced whenever they met: one end was the pipe of peace, the other an axe of war. The blade and poll of the axe is made of mirror polished iron with a peace pipe for ceremonial purposes.  The back of the axe and the long hollow wood constructed handle forms into a pipe. The shaft is constructed of real wood. Peace pipes are still used today by Native Americans and medicinal purposes. The entire axe is measured at 19", the axe length is 7", and the blade of the axe is 3". The handle is wrapped and decorated with leather laces and turkey feather. This is a beautiful decorative piece can be used either as a gift or just hanging on the wall.
