The Blackfoot Nation Ceremonial Tomahawk Peace Pipe has a stained wooden shaft with faux leather wrapping.  Metal decorative accents run the length of the shaft and the blade is stainless steel with a satin finish.  This is a functional peace pipe with the pipe bowl and mouth piece constructed of polished aluminum. Be part of this proud sacred tradition and own your very own peace pipe.

Tobacco was sacred to the many different Native American tribes. The tobacco being burned in a peace pipe is believed to send one's prayers up to the Great Spirit, the creator of all. This Traditional Native American Tomahawk pipe is a replica of artifacts unique to North America: created by Europeans as trade objects but often exchanged as diplomatic gifts. They were symbols of the choice Europeans and Native Americans faced whenever they met: one end was the pipe of peace, the other an axe of war. The blade and poll of the axe is made of mirror polished iron with a peace pipe for ceremonial purposes.  The back of the axe and the long hollow wood constructed handle forms into a pipe. The shaft is constructed of real wood. Peace pipes are still used today by Native Americans and medicinal purposes. The entire axe is measured at 18.75", the axe length is 7", and the blade of the axe is 3". The handle is wrapped and decorated. This is a beautiful decorative piece can be used either as a gift or just hanging on the wall.
